Up Close and Personal
Alma has been in the pageant world since she was five years old. Through the years, she has been able to carry many titles and learn from each. Alma is the creator of Starr Project, a plastic recycling program that started after seeing the needful recycling in our community where we don’t have a recycling center. She is an 8th grader at Magnet Middle School, where she is an honor roll student. She is part of Regina’s Modeling Academy, where she trains with Mrs. Karla Monje for runway and pageantry. Alma has been in shows for New York Fashion Week and LA Fashion Week. Currently, Alma is training for the upcoming Galaxy Internationals, which will be next summer in Chicago. She is also taking part in different community services and continues to work at Starr Project.

Why did you get involved in pageantry?
Alma was a very shy child, and pageantry got her to come out of her shell.
